Aponos products are simple to operate single patient use devices that provide the surgeon/endoscopist with extremely
powerful treatment options for their patients. These products combine a low profile tissue management and closure device,
[Padlock-Clip], with a precise positioning/delivery system, [Lock-It Delivery System] to deliver a time saving “point and shoot”
product for endoscopically controlling tissue which will safely, quickly and effectively manage tissue during surgery including:
- Provide a means to close tissue defects, natural or man made, such as holes, fistulas, or incisions.
- Provide a means of localizing, collecting and isolating a large volume of tissue required
for effective Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD).
- Providing a means of raising targeted tissue up from the local surface, and locking it,
ensuring a clear field of view and stability for Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR).
- Provide a means to attach and/or anchor other theraputic devices to tissue surfaces.
Procedures are accomplished remotely using state of the art minimally invasive surgical (“MIS”) techniques in practice today,
complimented by the unique adaptability of the Aponos Lock-It Delivery System to easily mount and fit on the wide range
and styles of existing off the shelf endoscopic devices.
